- I am thankful for Netflix Streaming and old episodes of The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Yep, totally addicted to it.

- I am thankful that I had an entire Saturday to myself. Sometimes it’s really nice to just be alone and relax.
- I am thankful for craft time with Drama. We have fun creating things – anything from votive holders to blog headers. She’s so much fun to teach and spend time with.
- I am thankful for 60 degree days in January. It’s weird, but also nice since I hate the cold. I’ve had the window open several days this week!
- I am thankful I was able to get Little Man the “very best Beyblade in the whole world” – the Hell Kerbecs. I am the best mom ever now. Just so you know.

- I am thankful for all the excellent people at the younger ones’ school. From the secretary, to the nurse, to the teachers, I just can’t say enough how much I appreciate them.
- I am thankful for Stephen King movies. Yes, most of them are a bit on the cheesy side and never as good as the books, but I enjoy them. I’ve been on a roll lately watching them – The Stand, It, Desperation, Rose Red, Dreamcatcher, and Children of the Corn.

- I am thankful for Chocolate Xtreme blizzards. Need I say more?
- I am thankful for afternoons spent snuggling with sick kids. Even though I wish they would all get better, I do love the snuggle time.
- I am thankful that Pester can do the grocery shopping for me. I still can’t walk very far and most of the time grocery shopping is too much. But, as long as I make the list, he does an excellent job of getting everything.

So many things to be thankful for, eh?
I get to have most Saturdays alone, so instead of moping, I guess I should embrace that- just like you.
I usually get week days alone, but for 2 weeks someone has been home sick with me, so Saturday was really a treat! Embrace the alone time!
am thankful that its raining now after two very hot days

The weather is definitely a treat! Love you!
I’ve never been a Stephen King fan. I don’t really like the scary stuff. Love the 60 degree days though. I could use one this morning. We woke up to a couple of inches of snow.

We just can’t seem to get any snow around here. It’s 60 degrees again today. I hope we don’t make up for this in March when it’s supposed to be spring!
You’re funny, netflix…that got me laughing. I soooo wish we had 60 degree weather here, we’ve been in the 70′s for weeks now. Ugh, it does NOT feel like winter in Phoenix. EVER!!!
I’m thankful for you!

I bet it doesn’t! I don’t know how I would feel living in a place that doesn’t have winter. I HATE winter, but at the same time, Christmas needs snow and I do so love to watch the snow fall, as long as I don’t have to get out in it. Probably doesn’t matter, I don’t think I’ll ever get my husband to move anywhere, anyway lol.
A great topic…we should all stop and think about what we are thankful for! Great job!

LOL!! Me and the kids just love it!
I second your #1, except that I’m addicted to the documentaries!
Oh, yeah, the documentaries are awesome, too! I go through phases – sometimes it’s movies, sometimes tv shows, sometimes documentaries
I know, netflix instant streaming is wonderful! Love it. And an entire Saturday to yourself? That sounds like the best present, ever. I agree that sick kids are great because they are so cuddly and wow – you are lucky that you have someone to do the shopping for you. I wish!

It is really awesome to have someone to do the shopping! When I first got sick, it was really tough because my husband wasn’t very good at doing the shopping. It was really making my blood pressure soar to constantly be running out of things. But, now that I’ve taught my son to do the shopping – and do it well – things are much better!
I know if we had Netflix here I would be very thankful for it too…
Oh, I’m sure you would be! How cool is it that you can watch all these movies and shows?? I just keep finding more and more to watch
Good to know I’m not the only person addicted to the Secret LIfe of an American Teenager…and Stephen King…and DQ chocolate blizzards. Mmmmm…blizzards…be right back!
